Maintain Your Certification
Continuing Education Credits are available from a variety of industry associations for Facilities Midwest Expo attendees interested in maintaining professional designations. In addition to the organizations listed below you may be able to obtain CECs from other associations. Please contact the educational office of the respective association for more information.
AIA Continuing Education System Credits
The American Institute of Architects will award 1 hour Continuing Education System Credits for each Facilities Midwest session.

AFE Recertification Credits/CEU
Facilities Midwest Expo attendees will receive recertification from the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) for attending educational sessions. Individuals holding the Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) or Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) will be awarded credits as follows: One hour of educational seminar attendance equals one hour professional development or 0.1 recertification credit (CEU).
BOMI Continuing Professional Development Credits
BOMI Institute will present Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits to facility professionals who attend Facilities Midwest Expo. For every hour of Facilities Midwest seminar attendance, individuals holding a Real Property Administrator (RPA), Facility Management Administrator (FMA) or Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) designation will earn one CPD point. One point will also be awarded for each hour spent in the Facilities Midwest exhibit hall.
Facilities Midwest Expo Certificates of Attendance
The Facilities Midwest 2007 Certificate of Attendance acknowledges each attendee’s investment in education and career development. Suitable for framing, these certificates are free to all registered attendees.
